觀音從印度移植到中國，其身相由男相，始發展為女相。2000年代内地移民潮，家族的女性長輩抱持對生育主義的信仰與移民的美好幻想，移民至港。奶水冰塑而成的送子觀音塑像，送子觀音始終懷抱男童，冰隨時間溶化，以其肉身的遷移，見證根植的以求弟實踐求悌的父權迷信。
Guanyin was transplanted from India to China, evolving from a male form to a female form. During the wave of immigration to mainland China in the 2000s, the female elders of the family held onto beliefs of pro-natalist and the beautiful fantasies of immigration, moving to Hong Kong. The statue of Guanyin, made from ice milk, always cradles a boy; as the ice melts over time, it witnesses the physical migration, embodying the rooted patriarchal superstitions that seek to practice filial piety.
